My Quilted Chair turned out better than I could imagine

My Quilted Chair turned out better than I could imagine

About a year ago I started using Silly Moon Quilting Companies Rulers for quilting.
As you can see, I picked up the process rather quickly. Silly Moon and I started a rather amazing friendship.
As you may know, I am friends with Tommy Smythe of TOM Interiors, an interior decorator, back last summer he asked me if I could do a Quilted Chair?
So I pulled out my Aurifil thread 50 wt and bought some polished cotton and started sewing. We originally wanted to use polished linen but all I could find was black with a silver polish. I wasn't having it.
I even worked on this at my sisters retreat in Grand Bend. I buried a lot of threads.
I sent the three panels off to Tommy in January. I know it took so long. I am learning that anything in the interior world happens very slowly, except what they want me to do they need that fast. Well, it just recently finally arrived.
Here is my chair all finished and in its new home.
Let me know what you think about my Quilted Chair in the comments below.
