About

I came to quilting late and sideways.

Textile artist. Life coach. Autistic maker. Based in Toronto.

Brandon Wulff

Being Autistic shapes how I see pattern, repetition and colour — and that's the heart of my work.

I grew up in a fibre-focused family. After years in hair styling, coaching and research, I began sewing to help my sister Michaelanne when she opened Stache Fabric and Notions. What started as support became a practice, and then a calling.

Today I work with interior designers and decorators on one-of-a-kind pieces, teach non-continuous ruler work and my Biscotti process, and travel with the trunk show that got me here. As a life coach, I bring the same patience to helping makers find their own voice.

The path

How I got here.

  1. 01

    Roots

Grew up in a fibre-focused family, surrounded by fabric and makers.

  2. 02

    Sideways

Hair styling, coaching and research came first — quilting wasn't the plan.

  3. 03

    Stache

My sister Michaelanne opened Stache Fabric and Notions. I started sewing to support her. It stuck.

  4. 04

    Recognition

Exhibited 'Epic Fail' at Art = Quilts = Art (2024) and 'The Shag' at the Grand National Fiber Art Exhibition (2026). Featured in House & Home and Canadian Quilter, and mentioned on the Marilyn Denis Show.

  5. 05

    Now

Bespoke pieces, guild lectures, and building better places for quilters to gather.

Coaching

Coaching for makers
who think differently.

Most coaching is built on hustle, rigid routines and other people's rules. Mine isn't. I'm an Autistic artist and a trained life coach, and I work with how your brain actually runs — energy that comes in waves, hyperfocus, sensory limits, and the kind of creative paralysis that no to-do list ever fixed.
