July Aurifil Artisan Challenge

In the lazy days of summer I love to sew by hand. This year I have been working on a series of blankets called Gaybie Blankets - Non gendered blankets a series of 6 rainbow coloured whole cloths one in each colour. I worked hard to get all 6 done sadly for the July Aurifil Artisan ChallengeI didn't order enough Aurifil Floss. So I got 4 mostly finished and ohh look at those labels.

Here I am using the floss ALL 6 Strands doubled over ( I love chunky chunky texture to help hold down my label and I'm using a big stitch to hold down the back side of my binding.

Lots of luxurious texture.
