August's Aurifil challenge pushed me to explore new horizons in the world of stitching, and I can't wait to spill the thread on my creative journey!

For this challenge, I decided to work on a captivating border design that would truly showcase the beauty of Aurifil's 12 wt thread. The soft pink hue offered just the right touch of elegance and charm. What makes this thread so unique is its thickness – it's twice the thickness of regular embroidery floss, allowing for a stunningly bold and textured look.

Embracing the challenge, I decided to double up two strands of the Aurifil 12 wt thread. This created a sumptuous, textured effect that beautifully showcased the details of the stitches.
